On which day of the Islamic month did the Miraj Shareef event occur?

The miraculous event of Miraj Shareef, also called the Night of Ascension, is commemorated on the 27th of the Islamic month of Rajab. On this night, Allah granted Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) the extraordinary journey known as Isra and Miraj.
