The fifth Surah in the commonly taught sequence of Surahs beginning with “Qul” is Surah An-Naas. It is the 114th and final Surah of the Holy Quran and contains six verses.
Surah An-Naas teaches Muslims to seek Allah’s protection from the evil and harmful whispers that can affect a person's heart and mind. The Surah begins with the words “Qul A'udhu bi Rabbin-Naas”, meaning “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.”
Surah An-Naas is one of the Mu'awwidhatayn, along with Surah Al-Falaq. Both Surahs teach believers to seek Allah’s protection from different forms of evil.
