Hazrat Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (RA), one of the esteemed companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is famously known as the “Conqueror of Iran” due to his pivotal role in the early Muslim military campaigns against the Sassanid Empire. Hazrat Sa’d (RA) was entrusted with leading the Muslim army during the decisive Battle of Qadisiyyah in 636 CE, a battle that ultimately paved the way for the Muslim conquest of Persia (Iran).
