Preserving Allah’s words was a task of great trust and honor. After the death of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A) appointed Hazrat Zaid bin Sabit (R.A) to collect the Holy Quran into a single book.

At that time, many who had memorized the Quran were dying in battles, and Hazrat Abu Bakr wanted to make sure the Quran was safe for future generations.

Hazrat Zaid was known for his strong memory, honesty, and close companionship with the Prophet (SAW), making him the best choice for this important job.

He gathered verses from written pieces and from people who had memorized the Quran, carefully checking every detail.

Thanks to Hazrat Zaid’s effort, the Quran was preserved accurately, and this collection later became the basis for the Quran we read today.
