On which night was the Holy Quran first revealed?

The Holy Quran, the final revelation from Allah to humanity, was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the night known as Lailat ul Qadr, also called the “Night of Decree” or “Night of Power.” This momentous event took place in the month of Ramadan, during one of the last ten nights, with most scholars agreeing it occurred on the 27th night of Ramadan.
