The first Prophet of Allah is ________?

Hazrat Adam (A.S.) is recognized in Islamic teachings as the first Prophet of Allah and the first human being created by Allah. According to the Quran, Allah created Adam from clay and breathed His spirit into him, making him a living soul and the father of all humanity (Surah Al-Hijr, 15:28-29). He was granted knowledge, understanding, and the responsibility to live as a steward on Earth. Allah appointed Adam as a Prophet to guide his descendants and to teach them about monotheism, obedience to Allah, and moral values.

Hazrat Adam (A.S.)’s story includes his life in Paradise, his test involving the forbidden tree, and his eventual descent to Earth with his wife, Hawwa (Eve). Despite the mistake, Allah provided guidance and forgiveness, setting a precedent for the concepts of repentance, divine mercy, and human responsibility. As the first Prophet, Adam (A.S.) established the foundation of Prophethood, which continued through a chain of Prophets leading up to Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ, the final Prophet.
