Qutb-ud-din Aibak is the only king from the Slave Dynasty who is buried in Lahore, Pakistan. He was the founder of the Mamluk Dynasty, also known as the Slave Dynasty, and ruled parts of India in the early 13th century. He was a trusted general of Muhammad Ghori and became the ruler of Delhi after Ghoris death.

Qutb-ud-din Aibak was originally a Turkic slave who rose to power through his intelligence and military strength. After gaining control, he declared independence and became the first Muslim ruler of Delhi. Although he ruled for only four years (1206 to 1210), his leadership laid the foundation for Muslim rule in India for many centuries to come. He died in 1210 in Lahore while playing polo (chaugan). 

His sudden death was due to a fall from his horse, and he was buried in Lahore, which was an important city even at that time. His tomb is located near Anarkali Bazaar in Lahore and is a simple structure that still stands today as a historical site.
