The Shah Jahan Mosque was built in the city of Thatta, Sindh, during the Mughal period under the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan. It is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and is renowned for its beautiful red brick structure and the extensive use of blue glazed tiles, a hallmark of Sindhi design.

This mosque was constructed in the 1640s and served both as a place of worship and a symbol of the cultural integration between Persian, Mughal, and Sindhi architectural elements. The mosque features 93 domes and is famous for its unique acoustic design, where a person speaking at one end of the dome can be heard clearly at the other end.
