Khalid (R.A) killed it, and upon his return, the Prophet ﷺ confirmed that Al-Uzza had now been completely eradicated.

This event is significant in Islamic history as it marked the final stand of Al-Uzza, one of the major false deities of the Jahiliyyah era. It emphasized the complete establishment of Tawheed and the removal of idol worship from the heartland of Islam.
