Who appoints the Investigation Officers under the Act?

As per the PERA Force Laws, the appointment of Investigation Officers is the responsibility of The Authority. This ensures that qualified and authorized personnel are designated to conduct investigations under the Act, maintaining legal compliance and procedural integrity. Sub Divisional Enforcement Officers, Deputy Commissioners, or the Board do not have the authority to appoint Investigation Officers. By centralizing this power, The Authority ensures standardization, accountability, and proper oversight of all investigative activities. Investigation Officers play a critical role in gathering evidence, conducting inquiries, and supporting enforcement actions. Reporting to The Authority also ensures that investigations are properly monitored, lawful actions are taken, and PERA Force Laws are effectively implemented, safeguarding the rule of law and administrative order.
