In Microsoft Excel, the Freeze Panes feature is located under the View tab. This tool allows you to lock specific rows or columns so they remain visible as you scroll through the rest of the worksheet. It’s especially useful when working with large datasets that have headings or labels you want to keep in view at all times.
To use it:
Click on the row or column below or next to where you want the freeze.
Go to the View tab on the Excel ribbon.
Click on “Freeze Panes” and choose from options like:
Freeze Panes (custom position)
Freeze Top Row
Freeze First Column
