In Microsoft Word, the Navigation Pane is a helpful tool that lets users quickly browse through the document using headings, search for specific words, or easily move between different sections. This feature is especially useful when working on long documents like reports, theses, or research papers.
To open the Navigation Pane in MS Word:
Go to the top menu and click on the View tab. Then, in the “Show” group, check the box labeled Navigation Pane. Once selected, a side panel will appear on the left side of the screen where you can view document headings, pages, or perform searches.
