Hazrat Bibi Fatima (R.A), the beloved youngest daughter of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Hazrat Khadijah (R.A), holds a very special place in Islamic history. She was born in Makkah around five years before the first revelation of the Qur’an, making her one of the closest companions of her father during the most difficult years of the early Islamic mission.

From a very young age, Hazrat Fatima (R.A) showed remarkable strength, patience, and devotion. She supported her father when he faced persecution from the Quraysh, comforting him during times of sorrow and hardship. For this reason, she earned the title “Umm Abiha” (Mother of her Father) because of her loving care and concern for Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Hazrat Fatima (R.A) was married to Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A), the cousin of the Prophet (SAW) and the fourth Caliph of Islam. Together, they had children who became central figures in Islamic history: Hazrat Hasan (R.A), Hazrat Hussain (R.A), Hazrat Zainab (R.A), and Hazrat Umm Kulthum (R.A). Her sons Hasan and Hussain (R.A) are regarded as the leaders of the youth of Paradise.

Known for her simplicity, humility, and worship, Hazrat Fatima (R.A) led a life of modesty despite being the daughter of the Messenger of Allah. She never indulged in worldly luxury and was always engaged in worship and service to her family.

She passed away only a few months after Prophet Muhammad (SAW)’s death in 11 AH. According to authentic narrations, she was the first from Ahl al-Bayt to join the Prophet (SAW) after his passing. Her legacy continues to inspire Muslims around the world.
