Who killed Muslema Kazab (Musailamah al Kazzab)?

  • Hazrat Ali (R.A)
  • Hazrat Khalid Bin Waleed (R.A)
  • Wahshi ibn Harb
  • None of these
Correct Answer: C. Wahshi ibn Harb

Detailed Explanation

Musailamah al Kazzab, also known as Musaylima the Liar, was a false prophet who emerged during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). He belonged to the Banu Hanifa tribe and claimed prophethood, misleading many people in central Arabia. His rebellion and false claims led to one of the most significant conflicts in early Islamic history—the Battle of Yamama, which took place in 12 A.H. (633 CE).

Musailamah was ultimately killed by Wahshi ibn Harb, the same man who had previously killed Hazrat Hamza (R.A.) during the Battle of Uhud before converting to Islam. After embracing Islam, Wahshi sought redemption and was given the opportunity to fight against Musailamah. During the fierce battle, Wahshi threw his spear and killed Musailamah, ending his rebellion and false prophethood.

The battle was led by Hazrat Khalid Bin Waleed (R.A.), who commanded the Muslim forces. Although Khalid played a major role in the victory, the final blow was delivered by Wahshi. This event is considered a turning point in the Ridda Wars, which were fought to bring back tribes that had turned away from Islam after the Prophet’s passing.
