Surah Yasin is one of the most well-known and frequently recited chapters of the Holy Qur’an. Its serial number with respect to the arrangement of Surahs in the Qur’an is 36. It is a Makkan Surah, revealed before the migration (Hijrah) of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to Madinah.
