Sahih al-Bukhari, compiled by Imam Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari (R.A), is one of the most authentic collections of Hadith in Islam. It contains a total of 7,275 Ahadis (including repetitions). If repetitions are excluded, the number of unique Ahadis is approximately 2,600.
Imam Bukhari (R.A) spent more than 16 years compiling this book. He selected these Ahadis after a strict process of verification from nearly 600,000 narrations that he had memorized.
