Hazrat Abu Zar al-Ghifari (RA), one of the earliest companions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), was known for his piety, simplicity, truthfulness, and fearless preaching of Islam. He belonged to the Banu Ghifar tribe, part of the larger Kinanah lineage, a tribe once known for highway robbery before many of its members accepted Islam.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had foretold that Abu Zar would live alone, die alone, and be resurrected alone – a prophecy that came true, highlighting his unique status among the Sahabah.
